Details

1. have long list of IE bookmarks (I mean like 90 items) 2. go to bookmarks menu 3. go to Imported IE favorites The list of bookmarks has no visible arrow to scroll down (it is there but it can not be seen). I experienced this with screen resolution of 1280x1024. Also when entering imported bookmarks the arrow up is there even though there are no bookmarks to scroll to.
I confirm this with Win32 build 2001061104 on WindowsME. This affects all long second tier bookkark lists (that is bookmark subdirectories). If the list reaches the bottom of the screen there is no arrow showing that part of the list isoff-screen. However it is possible to scroll down below the visible end of the list if the user guesses there is more. I dare to change the summary. I believe this is the result of fix for bug 78409 (about mail folders which use the same resources as bookmarks) which fixed a related bookmark bug 62525 (thanks Paul!) indoducing at the same time this regression. Adding Paul Chen to the CC: list.

Summary: scrolling imported bookmarks → scrolling long bookmark sub-folders (Was: scrolling imported bookmarks)
Paul Chen: Could you look into it? This is probably the reslt of your check for bug 78409. It should affect long mail subfolders as well.
Isn't this a duplicate of bug 84121? The scrollarrows staying enabled/visible is described in bug 76828
Yes, it is most certainly a dup of 84121. Thanks for finding it! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 84121 ***
