853182 - After Sync'ing desktop bookmarks are not listed in Metro bookmarks

Tested on 2013-03-20 using Nightly built from http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/8156df33b757

While testing bug 831614 I noticed that bookmarks I created in desktop Firefox (by way of clicking on the star icon in the location bar) are not listed under the Bookmarks section in the Start page in Firefox Metro. These are created in the Unsorted Bookmarks in desktop Firefox.

They do appear under Your Results if I just start typing the site's url.

If I do the other way around, bookmarking a page in Metro mode, I see the bookmark appear as I type in the URL bar (and starred) but I can't find in the bookmarks manager.

Steps:
1. Set up Sync in desktop Firefox and pair it with Metro Firefox
2. Visit any website using desktop Firefox not already bookmarked and click on the star in the location bar to bookmark it
3. Made sure you sync and then go to Metro Firefox and open a new tab

Expected: The newly created bookmark in desktop Firefox should be listed under the Bookmarks section in Metro Firefox.

Actual: The bookmark isn't listed.

The other way around also doesn't show the bookmark plainly, but maybe this is intended(?) or dependent on another story I can't find at the moment.

We don't propagate desktop bookmarks over to a ui in metrofx currently. They do show up in address bar search, assuming you've given sync in both browsers time to update.

We also don't display metrofx bookmarks in desktop. That would be pretty easy to add, but should be filed as a new desktop browser bug.

Yes, let's move this out to v2 triage. I'm pretty sure it's going to be wontfixed but we can keep it there until we've seen more Metro Firefox usage and have a better idea if this sync system is acceptable. I suspect before we get to v2, we'll have an entirely new Sync system and that is already doing things differently with bookmarks (no merging, separate folders essentially.)

Note - Fx Accounts paired with the current Sync (v1.1) service is targeted to launch in Fx 29. There will be a lot of push to achieve this date, as well as a lot of promotion (since gaining Fx Accounts is a key desktop goal and the reason to get it into 29 is to make the most of the year in achieving this goal).

I would therefore like to ensure we have a decent sync solution that is also tapped into Metro for transparency and ease-of-use.
