Hierarchical navigation of bookmarks
theres potential for some cool ui here.
I proposed the concept of "Bookmark list" at the end of Q3, find attached mockup above. Based on that concept, the hierarchy of bookmarks should be quite simple on Firefox Metro. All bookmarks are grouped by the list name alphabetically on the page. Use horizontal panning to brush through the page. Since users might have many lists, semantic zoom on the page is very useful for navigating to the place users have in mind. Besides, on the top right corner, users can search bookmark titles. Search results should replace the bookmark lists. Lastly, advanced feature: managing bookmarks. The interactions are consistent with those for Top sites. Swipe to select or deselect an individual bookmark
(continuing) Selecting multiple bookmarks should be supported as well. App bar is used to provide contextual commands, such as "Open", "Remove", "Edit".
Metro Firefox bookmarks will be shared with desktop Firefox. How should we present users' existing bookmark collections which may contain nested folders?
