We have the opportunity to release a new feature in Firefox, a self-auditing system giving advanced users useful information and tips about the performance of their browser. These users can also share this data with Mozilla so as to help improve Firefox performance. This new feature takes the form of a new in-product page accessible at about:healthreport

The product part of it are a few strings in the Firefox source code, the server-side part is a lang file to translate the UI, explain what the collected values are and give performance tips.

The repository for your locale is:
https://svn.mozilla.org/projects/l10n-misc/trunk/firefoxhealthreport/locale/fa/

The specific file to translate is:
https://svn.mozilla.org/projects/l10n-misc/trunk/firefoxhealthreport/locale/fa/fhr.lang

There is a staging server being set up there:
http://fhr-dev.allizom.org/fa/

(Note at the time of filing this bug, the staging server is not autoupdating code and translations yet and is in heavy works since localizers are working in parallel to the webdev team creating this mini-site).

We might release this feature for the next Aurora but that's totally unsure, given that this is server side, we should be able to update the server after we have released the next Firefox Aurora.

Thanks
Arash, are you interested to work on this bug? Thanks!
Ehsan;

Done in r114443
There's only one string that I didn't translate: "Wear and Tear"
It should be a play with words. I couldn't find it in preview page (and it's really in early stages I think. It's not RTL friendly yet) so I left it as is.

Cheers
Arash, Wear and Tear means that with time and use, the quality of something has decreased. Think of clothes for example. If it can help, you can check on this page how other locales have translated it, if you understand some of these languages, it may give you an idea:
http://l10n.mozilla-community.org/~pascalc/langchecker/?action=translate&file=fhr.lang
Pascal, just translated it as "استهلاک و فرسایش" and sent in r114510.
For sure, any better idea from community is welcome. Thanks for your hard work :)
Cool :)
Also, note that the server works correctly on Nightly or Aurora but not at all if you use the current Firefox release, it doesn't look too bad for rtl :)
Arash, you left the strings ON and OFF in English, is that correct? If it is, could you add {ok} to the end of the strings? thanks
Pascal, I can't think of any abbreviation for them in Persian.
I append "{ok}" without space to them in r114593. I hope this is the correct way of doing it :)
this is fine, thanks

In case it helps, in French we used Active/Inactive instead of ON/OFF

Also, I just modified a string to your file to replace a number:

The Firefox Health Report (FHR) has 5 categories of metrics:
became:
The Firefox Health Report (FHR) has 4 categories of metrics:

Could you update your translation for the number in the sentence please? Thanks
There is one string missing, keeping open until this is fixed, thanks!
ping for the missing string, thanks :)
Since you seem to already be translating Firefox on Pootle http://mozilla.locamotion.org/projects/firefox/ you might want to translate the Firefox Health Report files there also.

We've setup an FHR project on Pootle:
http://mozilla.locamotion.org/projects/fhr/

If your language is not enabled then just ask and we'll enable it. If you are an existing Pootle translator for your language then you should simply be able to translate on the project with your normal rights.

If you aren't translating on Pootle then sorry for the noise or any confusion.
I carefully checked the file and still can't find the not translated string. Can u copy the string here? I'm either too tired or becoming careless :/
I don't see any missing string
http://l10n.mozilla-community.org/~pascalc/langchecker/?locale=fa#fhr.lang

But consider that you updated your file two days after Pascal's comment (r115385).

I've tried locally about:healthreport (with datareporting.healthreport.about.reportUrl set to locale "fa") and it works as expected, so I'm closing this bug.
