Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.77 [en] (X11; U; Linux 2.2.18 i686) BuildID: all I current use NS 4.7x to read imap mail. There are server side rules that filter mail into folders. I can select all the folders and 'update message counts' to immediately see what folders have new-unread mail in them. There doesn't appear to be any way to do this on mozilla other than by manually going and clicking open every folder. Obviously, that is completely rediculous. Is there any alternative? For me, this prevents use of mozilla at home. I'm using it full time at work for web browsing, but using it for mail would be no good given this. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set up imap 2. Filter unread messages into several folders server-side 3. Actual Results: No way to see what folders have new mail. Expected Results: Would like to have some way to see what folders have new mail in them without having to click on every folder.
same as 61428... serious shortcoming - in my case, makes using imap via mozilla unusable. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 61428 ***
