I'm not having any trouble dragging to the left. But I do see some odd caret behavior when you tap in selection.

This regression wasn't caused by the original bug that fixed text inputs. It was caused by one of the patches in the skb work.

Simple fix. When switching from selection mode to caret browsing mode, hide the monocles. SelectionHandler will message back with caret info, at which point we'll display the caret monocle in the proper place. This is fall out from removing the overlay.

Using the attached test-case, when I drag a selection to the corner of the text box to the right and want to drag backwards to the left, the caret keeps moving to the right even though I am dragging towards the left. Re-opening this bug

Slightly different bug if it's the same thing I'm seeing. Since this has a patch that has landed, this should remain closed and a new bug filed, which I can do.
