The current "get help" page at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/page.cgi?id=get_help.html is mostly to encourage new Bugzilla users to go to the support forums for help with Firefox or to give informal feedback that isn't bug-related.

I would like to rewrite this page to be a help page about using bugzilla.mozilla.org.
What links to get_help.html? It looks like an ugly version of the thing that is now on top of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi?format=guided

You might be able to find another Bugzilla page or wiki page that makes a better starting point than get_help.html :)
Summary: Rewrite help page for bugzilla.,mozilla.org → Rewrite help page for bugzilla.mozilla.org

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/
The thing on top of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi?format=guided is actually much better than it used to be, and recently improved. But the first page that new users of Bugzilla see after they make an account, confirm it, and log in, has a giant button that says "get help" that I think should actually lead to help about using Bugzilla.

Links off to some of the existing docs (like the bug writing guidelines) would be a fairly easy way to improve the get help page. :D
After some discussion with glob today it looks like what we want to do short term is have the Get Help button on the home page go to a wiki page where we can write up the seed of a new BMO user guide. I'd like to give this a try rather than just removing the current Get Help page.

Somewhat longer term, we can rewrite the Bugzilla Users' Guide and putting it into readthedocs.
just need the url of the wiki page :)

I have to unassign myself from this.... I still think it's a good idea, but I went on medical leave last year and then moved teams and got incredibly busy. I don't want to stop someone else from doing this by keeping myself assigned to it! Sorry.
