User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686) AppleWebKit/537.22 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/25.0.1364.160 Chrome/25.0.1364.160 Safari/537.22 Steps to reproduce: I open Thunderbird (running on Ubuntu 12.10) All updates installed. Actual results: Thunderbird opens up fine. Then as usual the reminders window opens up. I click 'Dismiss All' button. The window disappears then reappears again with all reminders still present. Expected results: The Reminders window should disappear until another reminder is due
The Reminder window just keeps reappearing no matter how many times I click the 'dismiss all' button.

This problem only recently began to occur and I wonder if perhaps something it the latest Ubuntu Thunderbird update (which took place a week or so ago) is behind it. The Calendar is linked to the Goolge Calendar. I don't use the 'Home' Calendar in Thunderbird. But all this was working fine until very recently.
I'm looking at it now with the Thunderbird Calendar (the one linked to Google Calendar) displayed and When I click 'Dismiss All' I see the reminder box disappear, the calendar appointments disappear off the month view grid, then the appointments reappear along with the reminder box again full of all the appointments I just 'dismissed'

Cannot dismiss alarms. This is a recent development. All versions all systems may be afected. (actually tried: Windows 7 + Thunderbird 13 to 17.0.5 + Lightning 1.9.1, Linux 64 bit + Thunderbird 17.0.4 + Lightning 1.9) Using the CalDAV protocol. Error console shows: Timestamp: 15/04/2013 08:25:48 Error: calAlarmWindow.removeWidgetFor is not a function Source File: resource://calendar/modules/calUtils.jsm -> [...]
I think this is a duplicate of 356002

Curtis. I checked 356002 and then had a look at my Thunderbird settings. The Calendar is not in 'read only mode. Regards. N
Google recently changed something in its Google Calendar CalDAV server implementation and this broke reminders. It is suspected that they no longer store and round-trip X-properties correctly, which Lightning relies on for its reminders.
probably duplicate for Bug 769118?

Just updated to 102 from 91 and have this problem.
On a Dell Inspiron 5501, running Ubuntu 22.04 updated.
The new Tunderbird (v. 102) was installed as snap, while the older (v. 91) was installed from .deb.

This problem seems to be quite common, as I've found several reports of it from just a couple of years ago, in the Thunderbird Support forum
(ex.:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1326680
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1328724
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1352806
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1354662
https://support.mozilla.org/ml/questions/1365717
)

Any suggestions or a prospect for a solution?

Reporter,

Does this issue still reproduce for you when using version 102.6.1 or newer?
If yes, please provide additional details (type of calendar, etc).
Thanks
