Details

Product: iWS60 iPlanet Web Server OS: solaris 2.8 with IPV6 address compatible This test is done between local Solaris box and Netscape 6.1 browser. Setting up the Web Server with secure IPV6 address, then startup the server, when verified on URL on the client(browser). The server was not able to connect to the client at this point, the network connection was refused. Once again, this test scenario is only working on locally, not globally routable IPV6 network.
For the record, this appears to be the non-nsconf version of bug 82275. Some of those comments re what worked and what didn't should probably be copied here. Moving to PSM based on those comments.

I don't think you should invalidate this bug, you should see if it is a valid IPv6 issue that PSM needs to fix. It was targeted at one point.

The problem is I don't really understand the summary. SSL over IPv6 works for me both for IMAP and HTTP, and for HTTP both hostnames and numeric IPv6 addresses (just tried it now). Since I don't understand the summary, and the reporter is unavailable, what should I do?
Marked the bug fixed.
