Just open http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=2701511 and scroll this page. I suspect that landing patches form bug #830347 caused these artifacts, because it works fine in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:23.0) Gecko/20130507 Firefox/23.0 and fails in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:23.0) Gecko/20130508 Firefox/23.0
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
in about:config "layers.offmainthreadcomposition.enabled" must be set to "true" of course to reproduce it
Not actually a regression since there was no OMTC before :-).
Keywords: regression
I suspect this will be fixed by the patches from bug 868259 (which just landed on inbound).
Sorry, I meant bug 756601.
I still can confirm this in latest Nightly Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:23.0) Gecko/20130510 Firefox/23.0 ID:20130510041606 ChangeSet:08be63954b6b Bug #756601 is about OS X, but I'm on Windows 7 64bit, so I presume it have nothing to do with this bug. ;p
Summary: Page content turns black on scrolling (with OTMC enabled) → Page content turns black on scrolling (with OMTC enabled)
This bugs looks fixed. Can someone still reproduce it?
