User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.8; rv:23.0) Gecko/20130527 Firefox/23.0 (Nightly/Aurora) Build ID: 20130527004019 Steps to reproduce: Quit Firefox and started it again (manually, or via a Firefox update). Actual results: My fullscreened Aurora (OSX-native fullscreen) doesn’t remember that it was in full screen mode and restarts in normal windowed mode. Expected results: Firefox should have remembered its fullscreen status and restarted in fullscreen mode (as per Chrome / Safari’s behaviour).
Hi Dana, I missed your comment in IRC but go ahead and add the information you mentioned!

System Information: Mac OSX 10.8.3 Firefox Nightly 24.0a1 (5-29-2013) I used the steps above on build 24 and it appears that the problem has been resolved. I tested full screen as well as other size windows and the browser always opened in the last state when restarted.

Dana, can you please confirm that this reproduces in Aurora 23.0a2 but does not in Nightly 24.0a1?
Component: Untriaged → Shell Integration
I can not reproduce this problem on my machine in Aurora 23.0a2. Both Aurora 23.0a2 and Nightly 24.0a1 reopen at the same size that they were closed in during the previous session.
I haven’t found time yet to dl a Nightly and test it there (sorry!) but it’s definitely a problem on the couple of different computers I’ve been testing this with on Aurora. Comment #4 talks about window size on reopening, but that’s not what my problem is: I’m specifically talking about whether the window reopens in OS X’s fullscreen mode. Is this what you’ve been testing?
Sorry I completely missed the email for this follow up. It appears I misunderstood and was testing with the wrong full screen. As soon as I have my Mac back in my possession I will test again.
@Dana: this is still a problem for me. Did you ever get your Mac back to retest?
+1 This is annoying since it behaves differently from all other applications. Steps to reproduce: -Put FX in fullscreen -Close FX -Re-open FX Expected result: FX should open in Fullscreen Actual result: It does not.

MattN, any idea who could look into this?
