Got this today testing sync. I think we still have a problem with the sync service background networking robbing widget of native event processing. When this happens, Windows will terminate the app no questions asked.

Is this just due to work done on the main thread (of which there is little for Sync's http calls), or is the JS event loop not yielding to Windows correctly? 

(I'm not sure it's even possible to be correct, but hey.)

Yeah this might be more general. On desktop this would just show up as bad jank, but in metro the app gets killed.
