Following up from bug #864504
I'd like to add "Brand Engagement" to the bugzilla list "other products, underneath "marketing", this would point to the brand engagement project initiation form that was just produce.

Seems like it's alphabetical :) so perhaps it won't go right under Marketing. The idea here was to make sure people click on this vs. Marketing if they need help from brand engagement. If you can offer any other/better solutions I"d appreciate it.

that list shows products, however there isn't a "brand engagement" product, so it can't be added to that list.  this wouldn't be a simple thing to add, and may cause confusion if we start adding not-products to product lists.

i'll chat with dkl to see if we can come up with other ways to achieve this without pseudo-products.

I assume you are instead just asking for a new component to be added under the Marketing product. We can set that up no problem. It will not be automatically discoverable from the products page though as it will not be listed there. You will need to link to the custom form directly from your wiki pages, or other documentation.

We can look into making an index page of all the custom forms and their purpose in a separate bug which could help people find these custom forms directly from within BMO.

No, actually.  I do not want a new component but wanted a direct/discoverable link to the Brand Engagement form.

Been a while since we looked at this bug, we should consider it when fixing bug 1037663, even though it's not quite the same.

i've just committed the fix for bug 1037663.

after someone selects the 'marketing' product, a box is displayed at the top of the new bug page which lists the task-specific marketing forms.  see attached screenshot.
