Did you fill out the committer access agreement and return it to Shannon?  It's not part of the standard new hire paperwork.

lol. cloned brian's bug. forgot to mention, my email address is [e-mail] - i'm also an employee though (reporting to sid) and should also have paperwork on file.

As Kyle noted, commit access has no relation to employment status, everyone goes through the same process. You'll need to submit a signed form to Shannon per http://www.mozilla.org/hacking/notification/.
