Build ID: 20130620004019
Steps to reproduce:
Haven't filed a bug as I have yet to figure out the exact steps to reproduce it but it seems to happen as a result of connecting & disconnecting my laptop from my external monitor. When it happens, it happens on *every* open tab simultaneously.
The layout will return to normal (these white spaces and scrollbars will not appear) when I force a page refresh.
The effect can happen multiple times, so that I can see two of the strange white sections at once (example is in one of two screenshots).
Running OSX 10.8.4 with a 15" Early 2013 Retina MBP. I connect to an external Dell monitor with laptop closed. Unplugging laptop
Actual results:
See screenshots. Above the top of the page (and even above certain frames within the page), I see additional white space with scroll bars on *every* tab that is open. I can get rid of these strange layout issues with a page refresh.
Expected results:
I should not be seeing these white empty content boxes.

An example of this bug happening multiple times in the same tab.

Update:
I was able to reproduce today using the exact following procedure on my MacBook Pro (MBP) using a clean profile just for this test:
0. Start with closed MBP plugged in to monitor using mini display port -> display port (Dell U2711 at resolution 2560x1440, i.e. "Best For Display")
1. Launch Aurora
2. Open a few tabs (gmail - pinned, google calendar - pinned, github - not pinned)
3. Disconnect all MBP cables
4. Open MBP and look at Aurora on MBP built-in monitor. At this point, bug appears.
Will post screenshots. Also noticed strange behavior--the Profile Manager opened and I immediately this "bug" in the profile manager list of profiles *without* having to go through the procedure above.

I can verify that I have a mouse plugged in when I am using the external monitor, so perhaps the monitor was a red herring.
However, when the mouse is not plugged in (i.e. after disconnecting computer from monitor), I do still see these artifacts.

Correct, this is a dupe of bug 870941 which I'm currently looking into.
