Ken: This bug looks same as 882984. We should duplicate. Anshul - can you pls help with the API question?

Sandip, I am not sure how GPS uses this information as that is handled by GPS implementation. I don't think besides what is already done in bug 882984 we need anything else at this time.

Hi Sandip, Will there be a location setting for user to choose whether using wifi and mobile network to locate the position or not for this user story? Also is this user story implies that user can use mobile network to get the location indoor without GPS signal? Enpei

(In reply to echu from comment #4) > Hi Sandip, > > Will there be a location setting for user to choose whether using wifi and > mobile network to locate the position or not for this user story? yes. We should use the reference device that Taipei team is using. > Also is this user story implies that user can use mobile network to get the > location indoor without GPS signal? I don't think it implies that. But Anshul may confirm if so.

Hi Sandip, But the CDMA data exported in this user story should be used for AGPS in the future. Current acceptance criteria is still not clear. Does that equal to "User should be able to use GPS based apps with CDMA mobile network and Wifi only."? Thanks.

Anshul, this bug is created because of your request. Do you have any idea about how to make sure this api is just what you need?

According comment 8, we can close this bug now. For verification, we can use Marionette tests.

No GPS module is using it now, no test case will be needed.
