Tested on 2013-07-19 using latest nightly. I noticed I could not focus on the URL field using CTRL-L after I had touched on a search field in a page and selected something.

Steps:
1. Go to http://mzl.la/130ia3u
2. Enter some http://www.google.com/ on the page's search field on the top right.
3. Long-touch, then pick one of the context menu options, like "Select all"
4. Now try to use the hardware keyboard to focus on the URL by pressing CTRL-L

Expected: I can focus on the URL field, having the URL selected, and I can start typing something there.

Actual: CTRL-L will briefly focus on the URL field, then it flashes and focus is maintained in the page's search field.

I can reproduce this using the steps above.  Not blocking Metro v1 preview because it's a bit of an edge case, but leaving it in the v2 backlog.
