Is this a regression from v1.0.1?
Flags: needinfo?(sync-1)
Yes, on v1.0.1. It's ok.

A video will be really helpful here if you are able to upload to understand the issue ?Also are you able to reproduce this on the Buri device ? Tim, is there anyone you can pass this at to to help take a look at the logs to see if anything was obvious?

Maybe we need a way to know if the sent system message is being cleaned up or not?

Hi Tim, I'm in Paris' work week right now and couldn't have much time looking into this. Could one of your team member do some debugs to make sure the app is indeed launched by the System Message? I'll be glad to solve this if the root cause is system message.
Hi Fernando, Could you please take a look at this issue?. Thanks!

Looking to the logcat the STK Command STK_CMD_SELECT_ITEM (typeOfCommand : 36) is sent multiple times This is the UNIQUE STK command which produce settings to be opened if closed. Should we avoid this?

HI Fernando, Any progress here?

(In reply to Preeti Raghunath(:Preeti) from comment #12) > HI Fernando, > > Any progress here? As commented in #10 and #11 this is the normal behaviour. Based on the logcat, we receive the STK_CMD_SELECT_ITEM 5 times, so the Settings app will be launched 5 times. The questions is why your SIM card is sending this command once and again (this is not normal behaviour) Can you provide a log with GAIA traces enabled?

Dear All, I can not reproduce this bug recent days, so I can't supply the logs here.
