Community Member James will need access to talos-r4-lion-075 (I'll be providing him with VPN info in e-mail) talos-r4-lion-075.build.scl1.mozilla.com has address 10.12.51.125 (:joes signed off in IRC and in docs on community members having VPN access, incase there s doubt)
Could you clarify which OS this machine is running? The inclusion of lion in the name suggests 10.7. The bug I am investigating only manifests itself on 10.6 (Snow Leopard).
(In reply to James Kitchener from comment #1) > Could you clarify which OS this machine is running? The inclusion of lion > in the name suggests 10.7. You are absolutely right, my mistake (mental think-o) I am now setting asside talos-r4-snow-026 which this bug will grant you access from the IT side for. IT please set James up with talos-r4-snow-026.build.scl1.mozilla.com has address 10.12.51.54 instead
Summary: please give jkitch.bug@gmail.com access to talos-r4-lion-075.build.scl1.mozilla.com → please give jkitch.bug@gmail.com access to talos-r4-snow-026.build.scl1.mozilla.com
Going to bump this down, no change friday. I'm sure jabba's team will get to this on Monday.
Severity: major → normal
Per prior agreement with jabba, "major" means we need this same day. These changes have never been subject to the "no change Friday" rule previously, nor should they be. Let's run this one through under the existing rules, and discuss procedure outside this bug.
Severity: normal → major
Bumping severity back down -- we may not be able to get this done today for technical reasons. (update to come later)
Severity: major → normal
This happens to be the first loan-to-community-member since some significant changes were made in the VPN infrastructure and load process. We've run into technical difficulties which will need to be debugged by someone returning from PTO next week. Our apologies for the delay.
This should be good to go. Will discuss our process/procedure issues out of band.
