Are the attached screenshots from master on a tablet device, or the "gaia-local" fork? Or are they mockups of what it should look like for 1.2?

This feature is not sprint ready and has not been scheduled for the final sprint of 1.2 feature work by the browser team (https://www.pivotaltracker.com/s/projects/867301).

Browser module peers will not be able to r+ any feature work after feature complete on 16th September.

Have UX and the product owner for the browser app agreed that they will sign off on a tablet UI for the browser app which is so inferior to the user experience on Firefox for Android tablets?

Ben, the attach screenshot is what gaia-master looks in tablet.

As I know from PM, the origin plan is rescheduled and all we have to do now is to make sure current layouts are not broken (though not optimized for tablet).

So we don't have to worry this issue before 9/12 (1.2 feature freeze).
UX will provide some feedback after that date.

It seems that we should move towards a similar UX on the tablet as Fennec on tablets.  This is the current aim for them: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1187037/new-tablet.png
Does this bug cover that goal?

@caspy7 I don't think so. Because in 2.1 and future release the Browser app will be replaced by system browser.

So we might not add any new features in browser app.
