Could you attach the HTML source of the page showing the problem?
(It would be even better if you could attach a reduced testcase of the HTML source. :-)

David: I attached the source code of the Webmal page. I noticed that the display problem occurs only if you have at least 3 eMails in your mailbox.

Does anyone know, if this is a N6 or site issue (i.e. Is this something we need to fix in the client before we release)?
What's the base url of that HTML? It's got tons of relative links to images.

winterarno@aol.com was the original reporter of this bug, I just moved it over from bugzilla. CC to winterarno@aol.com since he now has an Bugscape account. Arno (winterarno@aol.com), can you help with David Baron's question?

I just attatched a version of the webmail source, where I made all the image src urls absolute. I can repro the problem with a Netscape 6.1 build, but I'm having a hard time reproducing it with my 09/04/01 Trunk build.

I just attatched a smaller test case that shows the same problem in Netscape 6.1. This problem looks just like bug 55086, and the image involved here is inside and image form element, but like I said earlier, I can't repro it in my mozilla 09/04/01 debug build, though it could be due to a timing difference between opt and debug builds when loading the images involved.

Yeah, this is almost certainly a dup of 55086. I'm going to mark it as such. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 55086 ***
