As part of the native stacks in B2G effort, we have created several userland tools for using the Linux kernel perf_events interface to gather profiling data. This bug is here to track the work related to cleaning them up and getting them landed.

For run-perf.sh, there are some sub-commands that aren't ready to be enabled yet due to external dependencies on work in progress. Some of the work for this bug will be deciding which sub-commands to keep and which to deactivate and making the changes to the script.

I think this project is pretty definitively dead at this point. (If someone *really* wants to try to dig up and un-bitrot the old code, it can always be reopened.)
