I've tested this on OS X and Windows 7 using both the latest Nightly and 23.0.1.
You can turn on Facebook messenger but the Facebook menu will say that you are not logged in even though you are.
The ticker displays items but you can't click on them and hovering over them doesn't show you previews
Chat doesn't work at all.
You're experiencing an intermittent uptime issue that Facebook has been experiencing for a few months now. See bug 872413.
