UX Nightly will change the profile in such a way that it makes essential buttons like 'Back' and 'Refresh' disappear when the same profile is started in another Firefox build (such as Stable or even the regular Nightly). Tested on Windows 8, 64 bit. Steps to reproduce: - Create new profile on Firefox Stable (or any other firefox build but UX nightlies) - Open Firefox in that profile, check everything is ok. - Open UX in that profile, customize the toolbar by putting a new button and removing it again, for example. - Open the other Firefox build again. Check that some buttons are missing. Expected result: - When opening the other Firefox build, the toolbar and buttons would be ok. Obtained result: - When opening the other Firefox build, many buttons are lost and have to be placed manually. I've contacted Gijs that told me that this was only to be expected in case I restored default settings in UX and then used the same profile in other build. Since this differs slightly from that case, it's now reported just to be safe.
P5 pending investigation, I guess...
