Reproducible on:
the latest Beta (Build ID: 20130822154523): Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.0
the latest Aurora (Build ID: 20130823004003): Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0
the latest Nightly (Build ID: 20130822030204): Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0
STR:
1. Launch Firefox.
2. Navigate to https://www.facebook.com/about/messenger-for-firefox and Turn on Messenger for Firefox.
3. Open a chat window and detach it.
4. Write and send some messages.
5. Re-attach the chat window.
Expected results:
The last line sent and the writing area are visible.
Actual results:
The last line sent and the writing area are not visible.
Notes:
1. Reproducible also on Ubuntu and Mac OS X.
2. Screencast attached showing this issue.
Not reproducible with the demo provider; likely Facebook's issue.

SocialAPI was removed from Firefox 57 and is no longer available in any current release.
