The demo provider now has an appcache with an offline page.  It works in the panels, but does not work for the sidebar.  In the sidebar you see the error handler page instead.

STR:
run demo server locally, install provider
shut down server
reload via context menu on sidebar

what happens:
you see error page in sidebar, but panels show offline.html

expected:
you see offline.html in all panels

SocialAPI was removed from Firefox 57 and is no longer available in any current release.
