When I start Mozilla, I have set it so it comes up with Mailnews only. Hence, the mailnews login window to my IMAP account is eventually displayed. However, quite often (almost all of the time), the textfield for entering the password is completely missing from the login window. Clicking Cancel used to crash MOZ. The workaround is to click OK (which tries with an empty password), resulting in an error window - click OK - and you get the login window a second time, this time *with* the textfield for password. Enter correct password, and you can log in and get your messages. This is probably a duplicate - but I couldn't see it anywhere.
This window has many problems. This may very well be a dup.
