Support and User Advocacy met with UX and came up with a plan for the Help menu that we'd like to implement. This would remove some of the less helpful items and consolidate different versions (menu bar vs. Firefox button) of the menu. The new help menu would look like this: Firefox Help Reset Firefox... Firefox Health Report Submit Feedback... Report Web Forgery... ---------------------- About Firefox <= Windows & Linux only Things to note: 1. Restart with Add-ons disabled would be replaced with Reset Firefox. See bug 872240. 2. Reset Firefox would be moved up to the second position because it's proved to be an invaluable tool and, as of Fx25, it gives the user the option of restoring their session data. 3. Troubleshooting Information would be removed. See Bug 915906

(In reply to Verdi [:verdi] from comment #0) > Support and User Advocacy met with UX and came up with a plan for the Help > menu that we'd like to implement. Can you/someone else in charge point to a public discussion summary (NG, wiki.m.o, etc.) on this topic? Is the decision final or still in flux? TiA.

This does seems like something that should have been discussed on firefox-dev. Can you post a summary of your meeting there?
