Crash Data

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:23.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/23.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130814063812 Steps to reproduce: normal usage. web surfing. Actual results: I found this https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/8fd57f96-8b53-473d-84bb-baceb2130914 very often during these days, but the surfing is normal, as in this year. why I notice this crash increasing? Expected results: crash report should be empy. If know that this report is unuseful in establishing the cause of this warning.
banakon, is this still an issue when using a current version of Firefox? If yes, does it occur when using Nightly from http://nightly.mozilla.org/ ??

(In reply to banakon from comment #5) > here the signature! > bp-1f126b3b-d99a-462d-99e9-b7ccf2140107 ... is [@ hang | WaitForMultipleObjectsEx | RealMsgWaitForMultipleObjectsEx | MsgWaitForMultipleObjects | F_1152915508___________________________________ ] but I don't think it's the same issue as your original problem report, because bp-1f126b3b-d99a-462d-99e9-b7ccf2140107 is not a startup crash

Confirmed means that other people ca either reproduce the issue or that we have enough infirmation that a developer can work on this bug and this is not the case.

For Information As this bug is linked from Crash reports and so may be read by those experiencing crashes I thought I would mention A recent Microsoft update was blamed for one such crash Discussion at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/991734#answer-548690 Crash Report https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/1c1100b0-d7af-4663-a22f-73d5c2140325 Signature Firefox 28.0 Crash Report [@ EMPTY: no crashing thread identified ] Date Processed 2014-03-25 14:38:39.957616 For general advice and support see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-crashes-troubleshoot-prevent-and-get-help#w_get-help-fixing-this-crash
some news?
(In reply to banakon from comment #21) > some news? Perhaps there is a better method of resolving this issue. These Bug reports are used for developers fixing Firefox problems, once the problem is reproducible. That is not yet the case in this bug report. May I suggest that you may be able to find help better by reading and following advice in the KB article * https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-crashes-troubleshoot-prevent-and-get-help#w_get-help-fixing-this-crash For a general problem with crashes that article gives this as the linkto use to ask for help * https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/desktop/fix-problems/form?search=Firefox+crashes&step=aaq-question However IF after reading that article you still have no solution and it is a crash that is silent and at startup my personal suggestion would be 1. Try following the additional advice in the article **Forum Response - Firefox crashes when you open it (Windows)** https://support.mozilla.org/kb/forum-response-firefox-crashes-when-you-open-it-wi 2. If you still have problems with a start up crash ask a support question using the special link https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/desktop/fix-problems/form?search=Firefox+startup+crash--Bug916489 &step=aaq-question

?? not sure what excatly happened, but I dont know how to edit above comment. I hope the link will show others the why and what so on (the in's/out's) of the newly created crash-rep. on my system. additional information. In the meantime in the background adobe-sw is updating, including the plugins and so on I assume, ..., with kind regards, A.G. Terpstra (Gustar)
Probably also interesting to the community: "Adobe Reader X (10.1.12) - Nederlands" is installed, succesfully without the need to reboot the whole AGT-system, my standalone, not mobile pc-system. The first updating attempt failed, updating directly from within the started AdobeSw (and adobe SW-installer). Going back to own business, with kind regards, A.G. Terpstra (Gustar)
