Steps to reproduce:

1. change the settings->Language->Language to Espanol or Portugues.
2. Open the HERE Maps app.
3. After enter the HERE Maps app, check the strings(including the options, prompt etc.)

My build info as following:
gaia：c0ea0a4943dc8d3751b07f5b5c5d3abe06364a14  
gecko：170f9e477571127cd40997fa2abe262ed43f0e4d 


Actual results:

1. In step 3, all the strings are english.


Expected results:

1. In step 3, all the strings should be shown as the correct language.

The version of our here maps is 1.8.44.

Iecky, your version might be the problem. Please try the latest version of HERE Maps in the Firefox Marketplace. It has version 1.8.77

Please also reboot the device between language switching.  If the maps app is translated correctly for each of the languages then this may be a dup of bug 828337

Dear Andy,

There is a string on 1.8.77 that is not translated to the correct languages. as following:
(enter the here Map) ---> (click the menu on the top right corner) --> about --> Have you tried the latest features? ---> Improved saving map area notification.

The string "Improved saving map area notification" is not translated on both spanish and portuguese,even reboot the device.

Is it a bug? If so, is there the plan to solve it?

We will take out this section and move these lines to the description in the store. Consider it done in the new release next week.

Let me correct my previous statement: we have removed this section a long time ago. It's not available in english and therefore also not in spanish or portuguese.

It's not there in the marketplace app version 1.8.77 (only in the web version via m.here.com)
Please test again.

HERE Maps Version 2.0 has been uploaded to the Marketplace today. Could you please close this bug?

Verified on Keon device OS v.1.1 that HERE Maps Version 2.0 no longer contains a string section. The new options button (upper right hand corner) displays all the options in the correct languages (Portuguese and Spanish).
