User story:
As a user, I would like the be able to queue up multiple BT transfers without having to wait for the current transfer to end in order to streamline operations.

Feedback for spec. version 1.0:

* Receiving status bar icon
Shall we want to reuse system downloads status bar icon to indicate that bluetooth is receiving files? Although we should handle and make sure that system update and bluetooth files receiving completely. Then, we are able to hidden the downloads status bar icon. In addition to this condition, not sure it might make some other conflict issue that I never concern between the two modules. Etienne, do you have any concern about the section? Thanks.

* Sending status bar icon
There is no system uploads status bar icon. For the section, it will need UX to provide sending icon to indicate that bluetooth is sending files.

Hi Fang, we currently do not have a status bar icon for this.  But we have something created for our notification tray.  I'll send you the file by email so you can use it as a reference.

Julien did a nice count system a while back allowing you to "increase the download count" or "decrease the download count" and then the status bar makes sure the icon is displayed when needed [1].
So it's safe to use from different places in the system app, that's why it was built :)
And we could have something similar for uploads.

That said, should we use the same icon for network downloads and bluetooth downloads? That's a UX question :)

Hi Neo,

In page 7, flow 2 to 3, there are three scenario not clear.

a. In current build version, if user send n files, we will pop up n notification(Check the progress in Notification centre..).
   Could we have only one notification while user sending multiple files?

b. For "Press toast message" showing the notification center, we're not able to do it while user stay in Gallery app. I have to hight the limitation.

c. If user don't press toast message, it will be left on the notification centre. It is a generic notification behaviour.

These will need your definition in the spec. Thanks for your patient.

Thanks for your help. The latest spec. is clear to solve these confused scenario in comment 8. In the other side, since Bug 931923 have a decision for indicating sending/receiving status via status bar icon. It will need your help to update in the spec.

Neo, I got some questions for you:
1. If I cancel a 10 file transferring, will there be a report?
2. When multiple file transferring, can you have more status on it?
   For example, I think current file name and "x/n file transferred" might be good?
3. I didn't see any failure notification ux design, can you have some sample in this UX doc?
