Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; rv:27.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/27.0
Build ID: 20131006030201

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to http://nightly.mozilla.org/ and download the nightly full installer.
2. Launch the installer and complete the install (default).
3. Do not set nightly as default browser.
3. Go to the start screen.

Expected results:
The default nightly icon is shown.

Actual results:
The metro interface icon is shown even if nightly is not the default browser.

Notes:
No other Firefox installation was present on the machine while testing this.
Tried with IE and Chrome set as default browser.
Somehow this got filed in operations.

This is a new 'feature' of windows 8.1. All browsers have the 'metro' icon even when they're not default.
Resolving because this is a Windows change rather than a Firefox bug.
