4.7X you get:
if you have a mail composer window and behind it a partially visible window you
can go and grap a link on that window without bringing the window into focus and
drop it into your email.
With n6.1 you get:
The back window pops up and hides the composer window, so you can't drop the
link into your email.

Er, Mike. bug 51323 currently has a Mac-specific fix. This bug report is 
on windows [but if you are going to work out the linux/win32 issues, then
great]. Also, bug 38646 is the same as this bug.
oops, i didn't even notice the platform. not sure what to do about it.
