Not everybody found the change language widget behind the 'gear'. Those who didn't found it reported: - the widget at the bottom is too far away, it should be at the top like with all other Web site on the internet. - a lot of entries in it lead to English pages, that is useless.

Given that we now have a new language button near the top, I think this is now WONTFIX. We can revisit this if we get negative feedback in the future. But I think this is ok now. WONTFIXing it as I opened it. Goofy, you can reopen it if you still think it is a problem. (In that I case I would recommend not to make a blocker of this, for the launch).

But the small icon looks a bit too discreet to be easily spotted. I wish some more easily discoverable widget were at this very place. The pretty icon can be misinterpreted too, one could think it is a kind of talk/irc chan toggle icon. What with a "globe" icon? (just a suggestion)
Jean-Bernard: we have an open bug to change the icon: bug 933458 The globe having a very specific meaning in all Mozilla realms (applications, OS, web apps and web sites), it has been ruled out. Read: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=933458#c12 Though easy to fix one the icon is known/designed, that one won't be a blocker.
