There should be a link to the MDN project landing page (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Project:MDN) from the homepage (in general, the "Help Improve MDN section looks  like  it could use some improvement, including a link to that landing  page).

Would this be important enough to be a zone? (Ali?) I think that it fits the definition of a zone and users would be able to find it very easily since it will be in the zone list on the homepage and in the main nav.

On a side note, if there is not an updated image in the header for this page before launch, it would be best to remove it. Perhaps you could use part of the updated logo http://cl.ly/image/081J3C3e2K1b If you need help getting assets, let me know.

I am fine with this being a zone, although I think it needs a better name than  "MDN Project". I also want to make sure it is not confusing and includes all content about MDN operations - including how to contribute/join, the aditing guides, kuma, About MDN" content. It needs to be organized better as well. It is really important we don't have multiple bits of content in different places that is trying to do the same things. 

I also think we might want this to be part of the overall Developer Program Content - Holly, we should have a talk with Robert about this and see if it would make sense...

I do think we shouldn't block on this for the launch. It is a nice to have though, but it looks like we are far from being ready to implement it.

This section is currently using the Zone template and it looks really great. Since comments in this bug lean towards having this section as a zone once it is ready, I think he should keep it using the zone template. 

Given our discussion earlier today about when and where to use the zone template, I just want to be sure we are clear on using the zone template for the MDN project section.

That's appreciated; thanks. And yeah, I think it should become a zone for real, rather than just pretending to be one.

To be clear: the MDN content is there and is a zone, but is not yet linked to from the home page.
