Currently on Desktop, there is a context menu the user can invoke to "Show URL" which leads to a "Copy to Clipboard" dialog which definitely makes it easier for a user to provide developers to the info they need. From there, the user is expected to then paste the URL and report the broken SWF either via bugzilla or github (or if they are aware of the swf archive the core dev team has been using, http://swf.codeazur.com.br).
We should look into streamlining this process for the user. Placing a reporting mechanism in-product which appears when Shumway is enabled would be ideal. Obviously there are also privacy & security considerations so full user control is essential.
