the sidebar is almost twice as big as it should be.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.open browser
2.use classic theme
3.compare it with other "status bars"

Not seeing anything odd with 2001073008 on mac os x (classic build running in
classic). Reporter: can you please attach a screenshot of the problem?

and when you hide the statusbar the scrollbars (both) are 1px too high

i think the problem is the component bar, but personally having used an xlib 
build where the status bar was ~2x the height you want i'm glad you filed this 
as trivial.

as for scrollbars we have other bugs about them.

fwiw, all the icons are 12px tall which is exactly the amount of space 
available in the contact list. The moz statusbar is 21px tall. The nc4win 
statusbar has icons 12px tall, w/ +1+1 or +2+0 padding.

So i think we can easily do a 14px tall statusbar (note that this is the inner 
height, not outerheight.
