Details

Bug 926587 described a problem with the Clock application's panel transition animation. This was later identified as a platform issue, and bug 921317 was opened accordingly. In the mean time, we landed a CSS workaround as a temporary, application-specific fix for the problem. This solution is somewhat confusing and detracts from the code's readability. We should remove it as soon as possible.
Bug 921317 was determined not to be a bug. We landed a more complete solution based on feedback there. Technically speaking, that bug should have been closed as "WONTFIX", and the patch to Clock submitted here. In any case, the simplistic workaround has been removed from Clock, so this bug is no longer valid.
