...maybe? Depends on what you're thinking. Not sure how it would work. All client-side feed fetching?
The original thought was to use KumaScript after bug 765642 and bug 773522 were finished.

Usually not very well, no. Depends on CORS, whether the browser can handle the XML, and possibly a few other things. Might be worth a try, but isn't done much.
