When mail account folder is selected menu items "File/Get New Messages" and
"File/Get New Messages for" are disabled, nothing happens when I click on "Get
new messages" button.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Mail, select mail account folder in the "Mail folders" pane.
2. Click on "Get New Messages" button.
3. Open "File" submenu.
Actual Results: Nothing happens on step 2, "Get New Messages" and "Get New
Messages for" menu items are disabled on step 3.
Expected Results: New messages are retrieved on step 2, I can use "Files"
submenu items on step 3. In general I'm able to check new messages when mail
account folder is selected.

Jennifer,
Should 'Get message' items be enabled when account level is selected?
There is no visual feedback that new messages have been retrieved since Acct
Central instead of the Thread pane is being displayed, but I don't think there
is any reason why "Get Msg" shouldn't work if Acct Level is selected.

Confirming this bug based on jennifer's comments. The menu items and the toolbar
button is greyed out when account level is selected which should not be. We
already have another bug for get message button has no visual feed back.

nominating this bug with keyword nsbranch. Menu items and tool bar button for
get msg should be enabled even when account level is selected and when we
display the account central page instead of thread pane.
