Steps to reproduce:
1) Hide the navbar.
2) Long-press (right-click) on a link and "Open in new tab"
Expected results: Tab bar appears, new background tab opens, tab bar disappears.
Actual results: As expected, but navbar also appears once the background tab begins loading.
Simple fix. Similar to bug 934496.
