(Whiteboard: [dupeme?])

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20131112160018 Steps to reproduce: Send message with only a hyperlink in the body. Message sends successfully, but Thunderbird issues message: "The folder Sent is full, and can't hold any more messages. To make more room for messages, delete any old or unwanted mail and compact folder." Fails 100% of time when sending a message containing a link, only. Occasionally fails with other messages usually those containing a link or image. Actual results: Message sends, but is not copied to Sent folder. Compacting folder does not help. Using IMAP server. Expected results: Message should copy to sent folder for documentation.
we changed something in this area, no?

I do not see why the link would cause the message. I have sent links uncounted times and no such error. Herm, how big is the Sent folder? Try folder-> rightclick -> properties.

184 MB, 758 messages. When I started encountering this issue, I copied all of the messages from the sent folder to another folder and started fresh. This did not resolve the issue. Have also tried compacting and rebuilding the Sent folder. Error only occurs when sending links from Firefox or through MAPI as with File -> Sen to -> Mail Recipient. Messages are sent, but not saved. I can put my email in the CC and manually move the message once it is sent.
Have you tried repairing the folder (instead of compacting)? Also, is the 184MB size shown on disk, or is it inside Thunderbird (folder properties). Also, what is the free disk size (as reported by Windows explorer) on the volume where the mail folders are stored?
