We'd like to build a simple cron job to pull summaries and urls from any given Mozilla blog(and maybe non-Mozilla blogs too), and stick them in the database, so that they can be used for news feeds anywhere on the site.

Sancus, whats the status of this bug? I'd love to move forward on this. It looks like the functionality is in bedrock, but just needs to be added to the calendar page? I'd appreciate if you could either take care, have someone take care, or tell me whats needed so I can do this myself.
