It is not possible to hide caller id either by menu (Settings > Call Settings > Caller Id) or by MMI with #31#MSISDN.
STR:
By menu:
1. Go to Settings > Call Settings
2. Change Caller Id option from "Network Default" to "Hide Number"
3. After one second, Caller Id is set up back to "Network Default"
By MMI:
1. Call to any MSISDN with #31# at the begginging (#31#msisdn)
2. Caller Id is not hidden
Nominated for koi?

Hi,
Just a correction (as I was testing with a SIM not provisioned) for CLIR (call hide), retested with proper menu. By MMI is working fine, but through menu is not possible to configure "Hide number" by default.
STR:
By menu:
1. Go to Settings > Call Settings
2. Change Caller Id option from "Network Default" to "Hide Number"
3. After one second, Caller Id is set up back to "Network Default"
Thks!

This is different than bug 937389, right?

Hi Jason,
Yes, it's a different issue. Here you just have to go to Call Settings menu, and try to change the CallerId option. When user selects any other option, after couple of seconds is set up back to "Network Default"
Thks,
David

Take care of it. I'm afraid the ICC card used for this test is not provisioned for the CLIR service. What do you see when dialing '*#31#' with the dialer app? Thanks!

Hi,
Retested with commercial SIM card with CLIR enabled, and it's working fine.
Bug marked as resolved/worksforme.
Sorry for the confusion.
