I think we already did that, based on https://wiki.mozilla.org/Releases/Firefox_24_ESR/Test_Plan#Firefox_24.2.0_ESR, but what say you Matt ?
This has been extensively tested and no issues were found. The update ping can take a bit. Try relaunching FF again to see if you get prompted the second time for the update to 24.2.0esr.
