I'm gonna help out with debugging the browser-chrome mochitest failures that are seen in the AWS machines that we're setting up to run unit tests
Hi, Felipe. Which bug # can we block this loan request against? Are you referring to the Windows unit tests?
Flags: needinfo?(felipc)
It is for the Linux 64-bit debug mochitest-browser-chrome work (bug 850101).

He needs a sts-linux64-ec2 machine.

Thanks, Armen.

Loan details provided via email yesterday. Please close this bug when finished with the loaner machine. Thanks.
Hi Felipe,
Are you currently working on this? I want to know if the machine is being worked on or not.

If so, would you mind letting us know if you can access the machine?

Once you're done, could you please close the bug and we can take care of deleting it?

I don't see anything of note running on the machine. I've shut it down for now. Felipe, please let us know if you're still using it and we can turn it back on. If we don't hear anything by Monday (January 27th) it may be deleted at any time.

Hey Ben, yeah i'm still using the machine (I've logged in today fwiw). I hadn't replied to Armen's comment because we talked on Vidyo at that time.

I've restarted the instance - good luck!
(note to self, host last login was Wed Jan 22, left running for now, but if no response in this bug or new logins will shut off on wednesday)
Yeah I'm still using the machine x.x. I'll close the bug when I no longer need it
FYI, this instance has no public IP, so if you try to use any of the newest scripts (e.g that connect to ftp-ssl, or hg-ssl) you'll likely fail, because they try to route over the public internet but cannot.

We are willing to recreate your instance from scratch if you wish, but will only do so at your request. Please reassign to "nobody@" and ask us to, if you wish. (if said timing is fairly important you can also ping in #releng)
Hi Felipe, there hasn't been a login to this machine since February 10th - are you still using it? I've shut it down for now to avoid paying for unused ec2 time.
Hi Ben, can you re-enable the machine at some point this Monday? I'm getting back to bug 933680 this week.
Started up.
Hey Felipe are you still actively using this?

No response on an IRC ping a few hours ago, and since this has a Firefox running since Mar 10 and current logins I'm not stopping, but would be ideal if while not in use (like over a weekend) it was stopped.

I'm waiting for a try build to finish with the latest patch in bug 933680 to run some last tests on it, and then i'll be done with the machine, probably over the weekend. I'll update the bug in a day or two to let you know that it can be deactivated
Flags: needinfo?(felipc)
Thanks! Its entirely valid for you to continue using it, especially if over the weekend. I just was poking incase we can save Mozilla $ by shutting down, or terminating it entirely [if it wasn't being utilized].
We can shut down this machine now, I think I won't be using it anymore
