There are titletips in outliner now, and these work in the folder pane, for
example "n.p.m.bu..." has a titletip of "n.p.m.builds". Hopefully, though, this
bug is to expand that titletip to "netscape.public.mozilla.builds".

This issue makes it very annoying to use the Newsreader when you have lots of
newsgroup folders with similar names. Netscape 4.x (at least under Windows) had
the tooltip capability so when you hovered over the newsgroup folder name it
expanded to show it in entirety. In Moz (up to 0.9.8), when you have lots of
newsgroup folders they can end up with very similar abbreviations, for example:
c.o.m-w.n.misc
c.o.m-w.n.s.misc
c.o.m-w.p.misc
c.o.m-w.p.t.misc
etc...

I think this is a duplicate of bug 62586 ?
It is entitled "Need Titletips (or tooltips) for Cropped Text in Message Header
Pane".
yes, I think this is a dup of bug 62586, but only if Joe reimplements this as he
did last time - for all cropped XUL text elements...
