I added the status options on the Instantbird desktop file. It imitates the jump list of the Windows version of the Instantbird.

Ubuntu path:/usr/shae/applications/

Is this a workaround for bug 955055 (bio 1625), or is it a separate enhancement, or is it actually the correct unity fix for bug 955055 (bio 1625)?

I assume the correct way to actually distribute this would be to include it in a PPA for Ubuntu. Would you be interested/able to make one? We would love to be able to point Ubuntu users to a PPA from which they could install Instantbird.

It seems great for me!

I need to search an easy way for to do an Instantbird's PPA. I'll read theses bugs and will try undestand them (I have a little knowledge in english language).

Closing bugs related to the Instantbird UI as WONTFIX, as the development of the standalone chat client Instantbird has stopped. Instantbird users are encouraged to migrate to Thunderbird. The user interface of instant messaging in Thunderbird will feel familiar, as the Thunderbird IM support started as a fork of Instantbird.
