*** Original post on bio 1995 by Hronom <hronom AT gmail.com> at 2013-06-08 10:51:00 UTC *** Than I click on link in the conversation its dont open in my default browser. My system is linux(lubuntu 13.04 DE: LXDE) and I use fresh install of instantbird 1.4. In "options->Applications" panel I have empty list(no entrys). Guys in irc helps me. Thay gives link to https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=907398#p907398 I do all like in this post and its start to work.
Summary: Instantbird dont open links in default browser → Instantbird dont open links in default browser (chrome)
*** Original post on bio 1995 at 2013-06-08 10:54:46 UTC *** The workaround is to set network.protocol-handler.warn-external.http network.protocol-handler.warn-external.https network.protocol-handler.warn-external.ftp to true, then the next time you click on an http, https or ftp link, you will be presented with the "Launch Application" window. This adds the missing entries to mimetypes.rdf. I suspect this happens when there is no default browser set for gnome (lubuntu uses lxde), but this has not been confirmed.
