Reproduce Steps:
--------------------------
0. prepare a music file of MP3 format
1. Launch SMS and create a new sms
2. Add music file to attachment (or launch music and send music to messages)
3. Tap on music file and select "Listen"
--> When music is playing, the progress bar stays at the beginning all the time. Manually change progress bar also does not work.
This only happen for MP3 music.

Does that problem happen when you just listen to the MP3 file on the Music app without attaching it first?

It's reproducible with any audio file(not just mp3) and should be a duplicate of bug 949016 which is under reviewing.
